The NYCFE is pleased to welcome Ms. Jeanne Somma, the Legal Insights Executive and Counsel at Ayfie on May 22nd, who will present:

Supercharge Your Investigations in a Data Driven World

“[We are currently in] …a time when the amount of available data for discovery is growing exponentially. More data has been created in the last two years than in the entire previous history of the human race and the amount of data is predicated to grow 10-fold by 2020.”

Gordon v. T.G.R. Logistics, Inc., No. 16-CV-00238-NDF, 2017 WL 1947537 (D. Wyo. May 10, 2017).

Imagine a world where every piece of evidence you need is at your disposal. With the population’s ever-increasing connectivity that fantasy is becoming a reality. Now think about how quickly you could crack a case by having the ability to analyze that evidence automatically on a large scale, combing it with multiple data sources, to derive patterns and otherwise hidden information. The results would certainly supercharge your investigation.

This session will explore how to mine data and apply analytics in modern investigations. We will discuss traditional as well as alternate sources of data and how to leverage each using analytics in order to see patterns, hidden facts, and other pertinent information during an investigation. From messaging to data collected from IoT devices we will cover how to connect the dots using the data and metadata at our disposal

You will be entitled to 2 CPE credits if you attend this seminar!
