Welcome to the New York Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners

The New York Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is an anti-fraud organization that serves professionals, students and communities in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island and Queens, as well as the New York Metropolitan Area. Formed in 1990, New York Chapter #14, is one of the 100+ national and international Chapters of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Our mission is to provide high quality continuing professional education and networking opportunities, as well as to raise community awareness regarding various types of fraud.

Members have attended hundreds of meetings, conferences, and events featuring guest speakers who have presented on fraud prevention, fraud risk management, cybercrime, information security, whistleblowing, investigations, governance, data analytics, ethics, forensics, etc., while earning "Continuing Professional Education" credits (CPE) required to maintain their Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).

The New York Chapter is proud to be New York City's foremost fraud prevention and fraud detection organizations.

Per the ACFE:  "Unlike the live event, attendees must provide payment information in advance for the virtual conference. When forwarding this to your members, please advise attendees they will need to provide payment info. They can also pay the chapter the fees if the chapter is able to make payment on behalf of the attendee(s).  
You will earn at least 30 CPE (at least 20 CPE from live sessions and 10 through on-demand sessions)."
